A square has all side equal, opposite sides parallel, and all angles equal (90°). Because all sides are equal, so are adjacent sides. All but the first and last descriptions apply to a square.
The first description is that of a trapezoid, which has exactly one pair or parallel sides. The last description is that of an isosceles (right) triangle, which has sides that are referred to as "legs."
