the gulf stream is a major ocean current. Where does the current travel, and how does it affect climate conditions in Europe?
Sergio [31]

Answer:

The Gulf Stream is an intense, warm ocean current in the western North Atlantic Ocean.

Since the Gulf Stream also extends toward Europe, it warms western European countries as well. In fact, England is about the same distance from the equator as cold regions of Canada, yet England enjoys a much warmer climate. If it weren't for the warm water of the Gulf Stream, England would have a much colder climate.

Someone has some geography notes or summaries about Italy ? Thanks to everyone
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer:

Hi again! Here are my notes on Italy from my geography class last year:

Geography of Italy

Italy is a boot-shaped country to the south of the nations of France, Austria, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Sharing a Mediterranean culture with the Greeks, the Romans built on and borrowed from the Greek advances in civilization. Rome was the capital of what would become a far-reaching empire that would spread these ideas around the known world 1500-2000 years ago. Ideas like trial by jury, judges, plaintiffs, and defendants in court systems came from Rome. Engineering of architecture, roads, aqueducts, Roman baths, and the formation of the Catholic religion all came from the Roman culture. Art, music, literature, and the sciences were all made more sound by the Renaissance, which started in Rome and influenced the world. Along with Greece, Italy is part of the European Union, and its economy is based on textiles and industrial products.

 2. I watched a lot of cooking shows because I find them soothing.
 3. I started exercising indoors, following online classes, instead of going out for a run.
 4. I learned to cook a lot better!
 5. I rediscovered the joy of playing with my dog.

Fawns (baby deer) have spotted coats. This adaptation is suited to which habitat? Thank you so much
frozen [14]

Answer:

Their spotted coats help fawns to blend in with the dappled shade found in woodlands - fawns have also adapted to have no scent, making it much harder for predators to find them
