Answer: b. granite.

The continental crust is made largely of granite.

Explanation:

Granite is an igneous rock which consists of grains. It can be white, pink or gray in colour depending on its mineralogy.  It is made up of feldspar and quartz with little mica, amphiboles and other minerals. It is buried beneath kilometers of rock and sediment in order to produce enough heat to melt rock during its formation.  It is used to make paving stone, curbing, stair treads, building veneer, floor tiles and so on and also the continental crust is made largely of it.

Galileo conducted controlled experiments to find out if the mass of the pendulum bob affected the period of the swing. Write a d
Papessa [141]
The pendulum was one of the greatest discoveries of Galileo, but remains that his claims are doubted by a few, if not many. There are some questions as to how Galileo proved his claims and theory about the pendulum and its properties which even drove some of the modern people to say that he was just acclaiming false assertions. Of course, Galileo had shared his ideas to his colleagues and might have been documented that he failed to demonstrate it mechanically. Though it is uncertain that he might have not attempted it, if he were to attempt such demonstration, then he might have gone to do the usual model for pendulums which is the tying of a heavy object to the other end and attaching the other end on a high place which would then suspend the heavy object mid-air. This is in connection that Galileo "tried it" with lead and cork.
