I assume that you know Pythagorean theorem, a squared plus b squared equals c squared. There is another part to this where if a squared plus b squared equals c squared exactly then the triangle is right. If a squared plus b squared is greater than c squared than the triangle would be acute. And the opposite for obtuse, I hope this helps!
