Hello. You did not quote the article to which this question refers, which prevents evidence from the article from being used in the answer. However, I hope this helps you.

Technology has promoted many benefits to society. Among these benefits we can mention the speed and ease of communication between people, since currently with the existence of smartphones, computers and the internet, we can communicate with people anywhere in the world and this communication is done very quickly, something that it was not possible without technology. In addition, technology has made human displacement faster, has promoted agility in agriculture, education and many other sectors. Finally, we can say that tecnoloigia has shown improvements in the knowledge and fight against diseases, which has elevated people's life perspectives.

However, technology has presented some disadvantages. Among these disadvantages we can mention the great pollution that technological devices have caused, in addition to presenting imbalance in access to technology worldwide, where many people need to live without access to technology, while others control all the technology presented on the planet. In addition, technology has replaced human labor in several sectors, which can increase unemployment. An example of this can be seen in Hong Kong, where many supermarkets have robots as employees.

Ulleksa [173]

The answer is option B: The vacant stare and the look of terror that had followed.

In the passage from "The Story of an Hour," by Kate Chopin, it is not necessary to separate the subject with two elements with a comma - the vacant stare and the look of terror.

Options A, C and D are incorrect because they contain a misplaced comma.
