tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

Cognitive behavioral therapist; cognitive restructuring

Explanation:

Cognitive restructuring is a core method used in cognitive behavioral therapy. Cognitive restructuring is recognizing that you are prone to predict negative outcomes of situation and then restructuring your thought process. This can be done by asking yourself what other ways of thinking can be applied to this situation. After evaluating the best possible and worst possible things that can happen in a scenario, the next thing is to track the accuracy of your thoughts. In the given example, the behavioral therapist is teaching TJ to see the best possible outcome of the situation by thinking positive about it. He is offering TJ with alternative solutions of dealing with the situation without being negative. This is a positive cognitive restructuring of the client.

Explanation:

The present simple and present continuous (progressive) tenses are tenses we use to talk about events that are taking place in the present. Depending on the type of event, we will use a different type of present tense.

  • The present simple tense is used to talk about fixed habits or routines, i.e. things that don't change.
  • The present progressive tense is used to talk about things that are happening at the present moment, but will soon finish.

You can see more about how these tenses are used in the images attached below:

Should guns be banned in the public? Write an essay on the yes side or the no side ALSO, BRAINLIEST IS ON THE LINE, PLEASE HELP
Kitty [74]

Answer:

see explanation

Explanation:

Since the ratification of the second amendment in 1791, citizens of the United States have been given the right to bear arms. To purchase a gun, buyers must go through a background check to ensure they are not a criminal. Most people have access to buying guns as the process is fairly simple. Guns should not be banned in public because they provide self defense, make the carrier feel safer, and most gun owners have gone through training to use the gun.

To begin with, although background checks are in place before purchasing firearms, criminals could find ways to own a gun illegally. If a felon gets possession of a gun and enters a public place with malicious intentions, many people could be hurt and even killed. The police may be too far away to spare every life; however, if there is a good person in the area that is armed with a gun, they could use it and stop the situation before innocent people are killed.

In addition, the owner of a firearm may feel safer knowing they can protect themselves and others. For example, if a bad situation were to occur, the gun bearer would feel much more at ease knowing that they could save themselves. When walking alone at night or entering a high risk area, a gun could be the difference between saving their own life or getting killed.

Finally, the majority of gun owners go through a gun safety and training course. This is to ensure they know how to use a gun and so they do not make any deadly mistakes when handling one. Some may not have had professional training, but instead have had a friend or family member show them how to use a firearm. Either way, gun owners are aware of how to fire, reload, and overall handle the weapon.

In conclusion, guns should be allowed in public spaces because it makes the owner feel at ease, can save lives, and the gun owners are trained in using a gun. Feeling safe is important when in public. Guns are also used as a means of protection when in the right person’s hands. Most firearm owners have gone through some sort of training and know how to handle a gun. Guns are beneficial in public to save lives and should not be banned.
