Answer:

Choice C: In mutualism, both organisms benefit, whereas commensalism benefits one organism without benefiting or harming the other

Explanation:

Symbiotic relationships describe the various ways organisms interact with each other. There are 5 common ones:

 • Mutualism
 • Commensalism
 • Parasitism
 • Predation
 • Competition

We are asked to compare mutualism and commensalism, so we can focus on just these relationships.

In mutualism, both organisms benefit. An example is bees and flowers. Bees search for nectar in flowers and pollen from the flower attaches to the bee. As the bees fly, they spread the pollen and pollinate other flowers. The bees use the nectar to make honey and the flowers can reproduce.

In commensalism, one organism benefits while the other organism is not harmed or benefitted. An example is barnacles and whales. Barnacles attach to whales and they can move around and find food. The barnacle receives transportation and food. The whale remains unharmed but does not benefit.

The correct answer is Choice C: In mutualism, both organisms benefit, whereas commensalism benefits one organism without benefiting or harming the other.

Explanation:

this is an incomplete question in the first place, i saw the complete format online hence the answer am giving here.

Before any C2H5CO2CH3 is or was removed, the system is said to be in equilibrium.

This means that the rate of consumption of reactants and rate of generation of products are greater than zero and are equal, that means that both the forward and backward reactions are occurs at these rate.

A newly mated queen ant establishes a nest in an unoccupied patch of suitable habitat. Assuming that no disasters strike the nes
Alika [10]

Answer:

Logistic

Explanation:

As the newly mated queen inhabit the new habitat, the population of the ants would increase slowly first followed by a rapid increase in the population size. Once the population size reaches the carrying capacity, it is leveled off.

Carrying capacity is the maximum number of the individuals of a population that can be supported indefinitely by a habitat. Once the population reaches the carrying capacity, one or other required resources become limited which in turn does not allow the exponential growth of the population.

This type of population growth wherein the exponential increase is followed by leveling out the population as the carrying capacity is reached, is called logistic population growth.
