I think to be a good leader you have to allow the people to "speak" per say. I think if you want people to like you or follow under your rule you have to listen to what the people want and understand what they need. You have to be able you make tough decisions. As a leader you have to know when to call war, or to shut certain things down. You have to know what's good for your country and your people. You also have to be able to take feedback. It might not always be good and people might be talking don on you, but you have to be able to think about what they say without getting a hothead. You have to be able to take stuff with a grain of salt and reflect on yourself and see things how they see them.
What I think makes a good leader is being able to control people that you are leading. If you can't control people that you are leading there is a higher chance that they won't listen to rules or cooperate with you. Another attribute of making an important leader would be kindness. If you are not kind to the people you are leading they will want to revolt against you more. The last quality that I think is important for being a good leader is tolerance for other religions and traditions. If you do not have a tolerance for other religions then your people are more likely to be angry or to have to be secretive.
