Peers play a huge role in the social and emotional development of children and adolescents. Kids usually give in to peer pressure because they want to fit in. They want to be liked by other people and they worry that they may be left out or made fun off if they don’t go along with what the group says. Things to do to avoid peer pressure is by saying no.
