Answer:

-100 + x = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the question:

Tyler's original height = -100 feet

Tyler's final height = 40

X to represent change in elevation

As initial + change = final, the equation would be:

-100 + x = 40

<span>he opens 15 accounts at $10/account </span>
<span>he has an unknown amount of salary. </span>

mash [69]

Well convert all of them into fourths. 3 1/2 = 3 2/4. Add all the whole numbers 2 + 4 + 3 = 9 and then add the fractions 1/4 + 3/4 + 2/4 = 6/4 = 1 2/4.  Finally add the whole number and fraction together, 10 2/4 or 10 1/2.

10 1/2 cases of popcorn.

Olegator [25]

Answer: 30.85%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let X denotes the score of  random student.

Given: \mu = 50 and \sigma=10

We assume that scores are normally distributed.

Then , the probability that a a student score higher than 55:

P(X>55)=P(\dfrac{X-\mu}{\sigma}>\dfrac{55-50}{10})\\\\=P(Z>0.5) \ \ [Z=\dfrac{X-\mu}{\sigma}]\\\\=1-P(Z

Hence, the percent of students have a higher score than hers is 30.85%.

Solve: z/2 + 26 &gt; 17.5
Sophie [7]

Answer:  Z> -17

z/2+26=17.5

We move all terms containing z to the left and all other terms to the right.

+ 0.5z=+17.5-26

We simplify left and right side of the equation.

+ 0.5z=-8.5

We divide both sides of the equation by 0.5 to get z.

z=-17
