He foolish invaded Moscow in the winter same as Hitler (different war lol!!) both failed. He was over thrown and deported into an island. He later escaped the island and became king again. The Gold Rush caused many to migrate West in hopes of finding gold. However, many were unable to find gold and with a lack of settlement, resources were scarce. The West had Asian immigrants in addition to blacks, Irish, and Mexicans were all living together. The lack of settlement resulted in few rules or institutions to support the area.
