Answer:

A place can influence our culture because of the different societal ideas in that region. Different places have different beliefs and being surrounded by those believes makes us view a certain idea the way others see it. For instance, beauty seen in the UK is seen by how tan your skin is since they naturally have pale skin while beauty in Asia is seen by how fair your skin is since we tan easily. Our perception of culture is the influenced in the same manner as the people around us convince us as to the standards of culture in that area.
