Answer:

9 for the hypotenuse, \sqrt{64} and \sqrt{25} for the two legs

Step-by-step explanation:

For these types of problems, we need to make sure that the values of legs are as big as possible while keeping the hypotenuse larger than legs because otherwise, it won’t be a right triangle.

So for the hypotenuse, we have to put the largest number in this number bank because the hypotenuse has to be larger than both legs. So the hypotenuse will equal 9. The rest is simple. Get the numbers as large as possible. Since the hypotenuse must be larger than both legs, we cannot use sqrt(81) and sqrt(64) (that would’ve been sweet). So we have to use sqrt(64) and sqrt(25) because sqrt(49) and sqrt(36) are already taken since we can only use a number once.

I'm not an expert at this and I cannot guarentee that this is correct. But I hope that this helps.

Help me find the approximate
area of the figure!!!
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

64.3 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

The figure is composed of a square and a quarter circle.

Therefore, area of the figure = area of the square + area of quarter circle

= s² + ¼(πr²)

Where,

s = 6 m

r = 6 m

Plug in the values

Area = 6² + ¼(π*6²)

Area = 64.274334 ≈ 64.3 m² (nearest tenth)

The product of 9 and a number decreased
by ten in an algebraic formula
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

 9n -10

Step-by-step explanation:

If n represents the number, the product of the number and 9 is 9n. That value decreased by 10 is ...

 9n -10

_____

Additional comment

The English expression is ambiguous in that we cannot tell if the number is decreased by 10 before becoming part of the product (9(n-10)), or if the correct interpretation is the one shown above. The order of operations is used as a guide, telling us that the multiplication is done before the subtraction since there is no indication of grouping.
