History

Answer:

Slave ships spent several months travelling to different parts of the coast, buying their cargo. The captives were often in poor health from the physical and mental abuse they had suffered. They were taken on board, stripped naked and examined from head to toe by the captain or surgeon.

of movement, but this also exposed them to violence and sexual abuse from the crew.

The air in the hold was foul and putrid. Seasickness was common and the heat was oppressive. The lack of sanitation and suffocating conditions meant there was a constant threat of disease. Epidemics of fever, dysentery (the ‘flux’) and smallpox were frequent. Captives endured these conditions for about two months, sometimes longer.

How has OPEC influence global events
Naddika [18.5K]
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has played a significant role in global events. A perfect example of this would be the rapid increase of gas prices in America during the 1970's. Due to conflicts between the US and OPEC, the organization embargoed (banned) America from importing oil from any of these countries.

This had a severe impact on the American economy. The price of gas skyrocketed since America had already hit its peak in the amount of oil that could be produced in the US. Along with this, it lead to the development of a rationing system for American citizens. This meant that citizens could only get a certain amount of gas every time they went to the pump.

Romashka [77]
During World War II, security concerns in the United States prompted B) the internment of the Japanese.

The fear that those of Japanese decent, even if they were generationally American, would become a safety concern led to their internment. This infringed on the American right to trial.

Hope I could help!
