Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

My Mother has been instrumental in my education. Right from my childhood, she has supported me in many ways to this moment. Her support and guidance can be summarized as follows;

1. She takes me to school every day while I was in nursery and primary school.

2. She ensures I do my homework each time I was given one.

3. She helps in doing my homework.

4. Back in nursery and primary school, she taught me letter writing and how to write in a particular writing style, specifically, the monotype corsiva.

5. She ensure I go to school with enough food and water drink.

6. She washes my uniforms and ensures I remain clean or neat.

7. She also pays for my school fees, whenever my father is not buoyant. Hence, ensuring I was never pulled out of the school.

8. She supports me when it comes to buying textbooks, novels, or academic materials such as drawing boards and T-square

9. My mother helps in determining which class is suitable for me during my high school days; that is either I should go for science, social sciences, or arts.

10. She also ensures I go to one of the best schools in town.

How is symbolism used to convey Esperanza’s feelings?
zimovet [89]

This question seems to be incomplete. However, there is enough information to find the right answer.

Answer:

Both the trees and Esperanza have "skinny necks and pointy elbows", and both don´t belong where they are. The trees should grow in nature, not in a city. Similarly, Esperanza feels like she doesn´t belong in the neighborhood. Furthermore, the resilience of those trees that "grew despite concrete" symbolizes Esperanza´s resilience to persevere notwithstanding the impediments imposed by her being poor.

Explanation:

The question refers to the section Four Skinny Trees from the book “The House on Mango Street,” by Sandra Cisneros.

There, the four trees found in her front yard symbolize Esperanza´s experience of feeling like an outsider and wanting to reach out for something else.
