What was the relationship between the French and Indian War and the English Colonial Policies that eventually led to the writing

of the Declaration of Independence? English policies encouraged westward expansion of colonies, which resulted in a war with both France and Native Americans. Colonists were forced to declare their independence in order to become a financially independent nation. King George III believed the colonists were financially responsible for the French and Indian War; therefore, enacted several acts. The writing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 was an immediate result of the Tea Act of 1773.

Answer:

King George III believed the colonists were financially responsible for the French and Indian War; therefore, enacted several acts.

Explanation:

The relationship between the French and Indian War and the English Colonial Policies that eventually led to the writing of the Declaration of Independence is that "King George III believed the colonists were financially responsible for the French and Indian War; therefore, enacted several acts."

Following the conclusion of the French and Indian war that lasted between 1754 to 1763, King George felt since the war was fought on American soil, they should be the ones to pay for the war debts.

This led to the imposition of series of taxes on the American colonists. In turn, the American colonists felt that the taxes are intolerable, thereby series of protests ensured, and eventually, the Declaration of Independence was made by the American colonists.

makkiz [27]
Using the system of elimination, I'd say the correct answer is C. It shows the worst of America, whereas the other poem shows the best of America.
It's not A because there is no love being portrayed in "I Sit and Look Out;" it's not B because there is no defined rhyme scheme in that poem; it's not D because both poems show the working class.
So based on this, it has to be C - the first poem shows hatred, pain, and violence, whereas the other one shows unity and love.

Who are the men of goodwill that gladden describes
kvv77 [185]

Gladden describes Reformers as the "Men of Goodwill".

Washington Gladden was a prominent leader and a person who formulated the idea of the Social Gospel (a movement in North America began in the second half of the 19th century), he was also a preeminent member of the Progressive Movement. He had a firm belief in the social gospel. He urged his followers (reformers) to put pressure on the political leaders to follow the will of the common people, rather the desires of affluent Industrialists. One of the most significant contributions of the reformers to the society was the making of the Settlement Houses. He and his followers raised voice for the equality of the African- Americans.
