Answer:

Everyone has different ideas and thoughts. Some are happy for being alive other just don't see the purpose of being alive. More than 90% of the time when you meet someone who has those thoughts you want to stay far away from them. You might think that they are nuts and need some Jesus. But you don't know what they have gone through. You don't know why they want to die. That person maybe doesn't have anyone to take care of them. Or they have lost everyone. Instead of walking away and ignoring the person. Go up to them, talk to them. Make them feel comfortable. Start hanging out with the person, even if it's just at school. Sometimes all people need is someone to be able to open up with. And spend some time with. So next time you come across someone who believed they were better off dead. If comfort them. And be there for the person.

My question is what is the best way to identify the type of phrases within a sentence? and how to learn it as quick as possible?
Ganezh [65]
1. gerund phrase - the verbal ending in -ing that is used as a noun is called a gerund
2. verb phrase - just a regular verb and all of the words surrounding it
3. adverb phrase - functions the same way as an adverb, which means that it answers questions such as when, where, why, how, etc.
4. participial phrase - although a participle looks the same as a gerund, it is never used as a noun, but rather as an adjective, or adverb
