Answer:

Everyone has different ideas and thoughts. Some are happy for being alive other just don't see the purpose of being alive. More than 90% of the time when you meet someone who has those thoughts you want to stay far away from them. You might think that they are nuts and need some Jesus. But you don't know what they have gone through. You don't know why they want to die. That person maybe doesn't have anyone to take care of them. Or they have lost everyone. Instead of walking away and ignoring the person. Go up to them, talk to them. Make them feel comfortable. Start hanging out with the person, even if it's just at school. Sometimes all people need is someone to be able to open up with. And spend some time with. So next time you come across someone who believed they were better off dead. If comfort them. And be there for the person.

Write a letter to editor regarding increasing corruption
Sever21 [200]

Explanation:

Dear Editor,

I write to express my concern over the issue of abuse of power and corruption in government. Since our 34 years of independence there has been outright and open corruption by both Governments who have been placed to manage the affairs and develop this country economically, educationally, politically and otherwise. We have seen the privilege given to some individuals to manage the affairs of this country being misused, abused and dynasties created, some have enriched themselves and their cronies and in turn the very people who have elected them to serve have been neglected and the country is saddled with enormous debts which our children and grandchildren will have to repay. In my opinion it is a frustrating scenario on repeat with nothing being done to alleviate the biasness and abuse of authority of some government officials.

We must agree that it is unfair for educated individuals with the right qualification deserving jobs but not getting them due to nepotism being displayed. With our Healthcare under intense scrutiny and Immigration scandals arising every now and again we must anticipate more is yet to come. I am not choosing sides of this political dynasty but simply making it clear that no matter who we put into government that they almost always end up losing site and focus on the primary job. We as a unit of Belize’s population, whether educated or not must fight for the upliftment of our country in ways unheard of and unprecedented. For the next five years we must analyse all that is happening in our country as we hold the key to our rise in glory or our fall in utter despair.

We must rapidly come up with solutions to our problems such as crime, unemployment, poverty, healthcare debt recovery as they are all vital in the development of our country and our position in the international arena. Furthermore I want to see my country flourish and not diminish with corrupt politicians becoming heads of government, I want to see our debts reduce and continue to reduce until we are in good standing, I want to see our justice system be fair to all, but for this to happen we must first put without a doubt in our minds the right persons in place to run our country and not running it down the drain. I want to see individuals with the right mind set who are willing and able to get the job done exactly how it should be done.

I’ve seen well mannered, educated, and humble individuals turn to quite the opposite as soon as they enter into politics or enter into government. This is what our country has become, normal individuals in suits and ties who seemingly are above the law and above the people of this country. We must open our eyes and stop being fooled, we must analyse the economy and heads of government and see if both these principles are moving in an upward mobility or downward mobility or if they are moving opposite of each other. The ideal outcome is that the economy is lifted.

In conclusion, we must stop government officials in their destiny to becoming rich through government. We need to carefully seek to place right individuals with the right mind set and qualifications to run this country in the direction that is beneficial to the greater population rather than focusing on personal gains. We need to focus on true development of our country and not be fooled by the lackadaisical work being done by the individuals we ourselves put in power. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely and if we fail to plan then consequently we plan to fail.

Respectfully,

Justin M. Wade

Which evidence best supports the conclusion that this story was written for children?
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer: Narrator is talking with a child in his mind

Explanation:

The Willow-wren and the bear

Evidence that best supports this conclusion is that the narrator is talking and interpreting in this story with a child in his mind and we can see that in a part:

“Pau Amma’s babies hate being taken out of their little Pusat Taseks and brought home in pickle-bottles. That is why they nip you with their scissors, and it serves you right!”

It is like he is talking about something that is showing us the experience of a child.
