The fourteenth amendment was written to protect african americans from laws that tried to take away their rights true or false
NikAS [45]
Hey there! Hello!

I would agree with this statement. The fourteenth amendment has to do with voiding laws/actions that deprive anyone of their constitutional rights, especially members of the African American community. It also has to do with citizenship, defining a citizen of America as anyone who was born on American soil – including African Americans. That citizenship can also not be taken from you as a result.

The fourteenth amendment also covers things like due process clause, equal protection clause, and general fair treatment of every American human being. I encourage you to do your own research on the topic in your spare time, but for now, your answer is True.

Hope this helped you out! Feel free to ask any additional questions if you have any.

What was the focus of the earliest phase of the women’s movement, led by Stanton and Anthony?
777dan777 [17]

The focus was to fight for political and legal equality between the sexes. The axis that marked this first period of feminist activity was the claim for equal rights of citizenship (right to education, property and possessions of property, divorce, etc.), having as main point the suffragist fight for the right to the feminine vote, that happened in several countries in the world.

What was overall impact of the Columbian Exchange on the continents of North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia? T
zavuch27 [327]

Option C. Columbus underwent deep voyages and discovered the present day America. He also discovered the marine route which associated the old Eastern world to the new Western world.

After the establishment of Sea route there was exchange of goods with other countries started. But the negative impact was that people of Eurasia were not healthy with high levels of immunity.

The interchange of food supplies also initiated the arrival of dangerous diseases too and major part of the European, native American and Asian population died causing shortage of human labor, this gradually lead to the slavery of Africans.
