They didnt like the way they enforced taxes in them. It was wrong and unfair to the colonists. It broke their rights. They couldnt have a say in the way they were governed. Also were forced to quarter soldiers. Some people couldnt even sleep in their own beds. They had to sleep on the floor. The british soldiers got the colonists beds
