The heavy wear of the incisors and canines in the early archaic and neanderthal specimens indicates a predominantly predatory/hunting life style of the two species in that time period, and that they had predominantly diet based on meat, which made their incisors and canines wear out more than the other teeth.
Considered to be homologous structured similarities, they are different due to evolution and how they were used over thousands of years, eventhough they are all similar because of a common ancestor.
