we use (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)  this is rise over run

plug and chug to get slope.
(37-17)/(7-2)= 4 

now use point slope using one of the point that we used to find the slope

plug and chug again
m=4 ............ point (2,17)

y- 17 = 4 (x- 2)
