Answer:

If you consider just the city's population (and not metro area), Denver is the 25th-largest city in the US. Places like Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Columbus, Austin, and El Paso are all bigger. Miami proper may be smaller than Denver, but the Miami metro area sports 5.5 million people.

Answer: Between 1870 and 1880, Denver's population soared by almost 650 percent. Between 1880 and 1890, it more than doubled. The reason is convenience. Denver had railroad access, and it was conveniently close to significant mining developments, such as Leadville.

But I don't know about that answer if it is right or wrong.

Answer:

You are experiencing the tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon.

Explanation:

The tip-of-the-tongue phenomenon is also known as lethologica. It can be defined as the feeling we have when we are temporarily unable to retrieve information from memory. It is interesting to note that partial information can be recalled. If we are trying to remember a particular word, we may recall its first letter, or how many syllables we have, for instance. This phenomenon is common and becomes more frequent as we age.
