How are igneous rocks formed? hints how are igneous rocks formed? igneous rocks are formed only from material ejected during a v
Alinara [238K]

Igneous rock are formed by the cooling and crystallization of molten rock and are formed by the cooling of magma above earth's surface.

Let's look into the statements one by one:

Igneous rocks are formed only from material ejected during a volcanic eruption.

-This is not true because igneous rock can also be formed by the cooling down of magma inside a volcano or magma that was trapped in the crack of crust.

Igneous rocks are formed by the cooling and crystallization of molten rock.

-This is correct.

Igneous rocks are produced by the weathering and transport of pre-existing rocks.

-This is incorrect as igneous rock is formed by volcanism. The rock that are formed with the statement is sedimentary rock.

Igneous rocks are formed by the cooling of magma above earth's surface and lava below the surface.

-This is correct. Both intrusive and extrusive volcanic activity forms igneous rock after cooling down.

Igneous rocks are formed by recrystallization

-This is not true as recrystallization does not take place in the formation of the igneous rock. The rock formed by recrytillization is metamorphic rock.

Therefore, the igneous rock are formed by the cooling and crystallization of molten rock and are formed by the cooling of magma above earth's surface.

Hope it helps!

Mexico is a country where the social life and culture are a mixture of European and Mesoamerican traits.

Explanation:

Mexico is a country that has been part of the Spanish colonization. This has resulted in big impact by the Spanish, especially in the culture. While the Spanish imposed their own cultural traits, lot of the cultural traits of the local population shave also been kept.

The cultural landscape of Mexico nowadays is a mixture between the Spanish culture and the Mesoamerican cultures. The large cities tend to be leaning more toward the Spanish culture, while the rural areas tend to lean more toward the Mesoamerican cultures.

Unfortunately, lot of bad characteristics have been preserved from both of the different cultures that created the modern day Mexican culture. Such things have been the imposing of power over the poor and treating them as slaves, the development of local powerhouses based on criminal activities, thus the cartels, and the brutal and seeming casual murders, often of innocent people.

Some of the Mesoamerican cultures that have contributed to the Mexican culture are:

  • Aztec
  • Zapotec
  • Maya
  • Toltec
