Answer:

Moses is the most important prophet in the religion of Judaism, and plays a role in Christianity and Islam as well. In the biblical narrative, he was the leader of the Israelites and the author of the first five books of the Bible. In the book of Exodus (Christianity) Moses was born in a time where his people, the Israelites, were an enslaved minority in Egypt. At the time, his people were growing, which feared the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh ordered all baby Hebrew boys to be murdered to decrease the population. Moses was brought up un royalty, as the Pharaoh's daughter found him in the Nile River. After killing an Egyptian slave master that was beating a Hebrew, he fled across the Red Sea. There he found an Angel. God sent Moses back to Egypt to demand the Israelites be freed from slavery. The Pharaoh denied, so God sent 10 horrible plagues until the Pharaoh finally gave in. Moses led his people through the Red sea, and to Mount Sinai, where Moses received  the 10 commandments. After 40 years of wandering through the desert, Moses died within sight of the Promised land.

How did opposition to the vietnam war effect american society
Lyrx [107]

Answer:

Those who opposed the war, such as hippies, were loathed by mainstream society as Communist sympathizers. This resentment was so strong that when four college students were killed by the National Guard at Kent State University in 1970, fifty-six percent of Americans believed that the killings were justified.
