There are known programs in communities to include Boys and Girls Clubs, outreach, and even youth recreational activities is a good way to keep kids involved. Students should have someone that they can talk to about violent situations or situations that they THINK may be violent. Having a Community Violence Prevention Forum can be helpful and people can get involved in their community activities. Having programs available to discuss alcohol abuse, bullying, and drug awareness can be beneficial.
