I believe it is transportation because America already had other forms of communication, even if it wasn't as fast...but each of the revolutions were impacted greatly by transportation. It can deliver snail mail faster and get more products to more people. Besides things like increased business productivity and economic growth, it made ordinary people's lives easier as well.
