Answer:

Contrast- Which is the arrangement of opposite elements. So, like, if you have a rough texture, its' contrast would be smooth texture, the contrast of dark colors is light colors, etc.

-Balance- There are two type of balance, asymmetrical balance and symmetrical balance. Asymmetrical balance is when the shapes on both side of the artwork are the same, but the colors are opposites. Symmetrical balance is when both the shapes and colors in a piece match perfectly on both sides.

-Emphasis- Emphasis is when a certain part of an artwork is emphasized. For example, a red dot in the middles of a black canvas, the red dot is emphasized.

Movement- Movement in art is when the piece appears to move. A really good example of this is Vincent Van Goughs' 'Starry night'

-White Space- White space is also known as negative space, it's any part of the artwork that is deliberately left blank.

-Proportion- Proportion is the relationship between the sizes of two or more objects or elements in an artwork.

Answer: I don't see a picture, but The 7 principles of design are:

-White Space- White space is also known as negative space, it's any part of the artwork that is deliberately left blank.

-Proportion- Proportion is the relationship between the sizes of two or more objects or elements in an artwork.

-Repetition- Repetition is when an artist repeats a single element again and again in an artwork. It's different from a pattern because a pattern consists of more than one element repeating in the same order again and again in an artwork. Repetition is just one element repeating again and again in an artwork, like windows on a sky scraper.

A relief sculpture is __________________
AveGali [126]

Answer:

Relief is a sculptural technique where the sculpted elements remain attached to a solid background of the same material. The term relief is from the Latin verb relevo, to raise. To create a sculpture in relief is to give the impression that the sculpted material has been raised above the background plane. What is actually performed when a relief is cut in from a flat surface of stone (relief sculpture) or wood (relief carving) is a lowering of the field, leaving the unsculpted parts seemingly raised. The technique involves considerable chiselling away of the background, which is a time-consuming exercise. On the other hand, a relief saves forming the rear of a subject, and is less fragile and more securely fixed than a sculpture in the round, especially one of a standing figure where the ankles are a potential weak point, especially in stone. In other materials such as metal, clay, plaster stucco, ceramics or papier-mâché the form can be just added to or raised up from the background, and monumental bronze reliefs are made by casting.
