Has everyone finished his report for the meeting. (indirect speech )

English
1 answer:
denpristay [2]3 years ago

Answer: "She asked if everyone had finished his report for the meeting".

Explanation:

When using indirect speech, we are simply reporting the direct speech of someone else. This will therefore remove the inverted commas which represent direct speech. Indirect speech is also always in past tense because we are reporting what has already been said.

In this instance, I am unsure of who the speaker is so we shall assume that it is a female.

Indirect speech would be:

"She asked if everyone had finished his report for the meeting".

The way I see it, is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. Very likely that my comment will be deleted, but oh well, just wanted to see how this goes.
