Athena is a god who follows Odysseus in all of his adventures, advising and helping him in thousand different ways. In this particular situation, she wants to fuel Odysseus' anger even more, so she entices the suitors' worst traits and attitudes. She wants Odysseus to have his revenge, and doesn't want to risk him getting soft on the suitors. As a goddess of wisdom, she wants the order to be restored, and the offenders to be punished as they deserved.

GarryVolchara [31]

Answer:

D) Chimpanzees use tools in the same way humans do.

Explanation:

The phrase from the passage which BEST supports the student's generalization that chimps are the smartest animals alive is: chimpanzees use tools in the same way humans do. This was considered one of the most stunning and important observations Goodall made about chimps and could easily make the student generalize that chimps, being like humans in this way, are 'the smartest animals alive.'

Answer:

C. Allegory

Explanation:

Allegory is known as an extended metaphor whereby a long narrative is used to teach a lesson or prove a point from an absurd, unrelated story. The story usually has an implied and literal meaning.

So, a writer that comes up with an outrageous solution to poverty just to highlight the heartlessness and absurdity of the rulers he lives under uses an allegory to tell his story.
