The Enlightenment was a movement that brought back the classic thoughts that were from the Roman and Greek classic times. Because of that, Enlightenment favored science and industry to influence human learning and beliefs. The Enlightenment literature had the main ideas of the classical literature which were structure, unity, clarity, and restraint.
