Hideki Tojo was a Japanese
prime minister advocated the use of force in order to guarantee Japan’s
national security, leading to war with the U.S. in 1941.

Prime Minister of Japan and also he was a general of the Imperial Japanese
Army, the leader of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association. His ruling period
as a prime minister is from 17 October 1941 to 22 July 1944.</span>
<span>The purpose of the Palmer raids in the early 1920's was to arrest and deport all the radicals.Also, involved left winged organizations. It was in the height of World War 1. Palmer was worried that the communist was planning to overthrow the American government.<span>

The main reason the Roman Republic failed is that it was never a democracy. The rich had undue influence in the electoral process. The various generals like Marius, Sulla, Pompey and Caesar were much more popular. There was also increasingly instability, many civil wars. And everywhere outside of Italy was governed as a province, with a Governor imposed by Rome. Most actual inhabitants were excluded from the workings of the Republic.
