What was most significant about Maryland’s Act of Toleration?
Feliz [49]

The Maryland's Act of Toleration inspired the growth of religious freedom in the colonies, as it allowed tolerance to non Puritan Christians in the colony.

The law became a model for other North American colonies, as later came other laws that ensured tolerance and religious freedom, such as the Holy Experiment in Pennsylvania, and Religion Laws in other colonies like South Carolina, which have been influenced by his example.

This act also influenced the freedom of religion that was later legislated with the creation of the United States of America.

This act required British currency to be backed by silver and gold. Therefore giving the current actual value, because of rare items equal value.

Becuase of instant information, the public and the world immediately learned about this, and therefore lost trust and security in Great Britain's currency.

This, therefore, leads to the Panic of 1857.

C. the Industrial Revolution
This is not a bad side effect at all, however, one of the greatest advancements in technology that boosted the worldwide economy.

1. What factors determined the pattern of slavery in North America?
Wittaler [7]

Answer: The argument has often been used to diminish the scale of slavery, reducing it to a crime committed by a few Southern planters, one that did not touch the rest of the United States. Slavery, the argument goes, was an inefficient system, and the labor of the enslaved was considered less productive than that of a free worker being paid a wage.
