The real wage paid to the worker is 4 hamburgers per hour.

What is Wage?

 • A wage is the sum of money that an employer pays an employee for work that was completed within a certain time frame.
 • The minimum wage, prevailing rate, annual bonuses, and remunerative rewards like prizes and tip payments are a few examples of wage payments.
 • It is broken down into two parts: a direct cost made up mostly of gross pay plus various benefits; and an indirect cost made up primarily of traditional and legal employer contributions and other fees.
 • Regular and supplemental pay can be divided into two groups.
 • The number of hours worked multiplied by the employee's hourly wage can be used to determine gross wages for hourly workers.

Consider the following for Guardian Manufacturing Company: Change in finished goods inventory $ 315 increase Change in work-in-p
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

B) $ 485 $ 170

Explanation

The cost of goods manufactured includes all the manufacturing costs in a given period adjusting for changes in work in process balances. The total manufacturing costs are $ 630 but this results in an increase in work in process inventory by $ 145, so in other words, part of the total manufacturing costs have gone towards increasing the work in process balance.

So the cost of goods manufactured is $ 630 - $ 145 = $ 485.

The cost of goods sold is the cost of goods manufactured above adjusted for changes in finished goods.

so the cost of goods sold is $ 485 - $ 315 ( change in finished goods inventory) = $ 170.

A survey of top executives revealed that 35% of them regularly read time magazine, 20% read newsweek, and 40% read u.s. news &am
ioda

Answer: The probability that a particular top executive reads either time or US news and world report regularly is 0.65

Explanation: Let's say TM represents Time Magazine, NS represents Newsweek, and UW represents U.S news & World report.

Probability of TM readers (P.TM) = 0.35

Probability of UW readers (P.UW) = 0.40

Probability of both TM and UW readers (P.TM ∩ P.UW) = 0.10

Probability of both TM or UW readers (P.TM ∪ P.UW) = ?

Given the probability equation of:

(P.TM ∪ P.UW) = (P.TM) + (P.UW) - (P.TM ∩ P.UW)

= 0.35 + 0.40 - 0.10

= 0.65

Therefore the probability that a particular top executive reads either time or US news and world report regularly is 0.65
