Explain how indigenous languages have been under threat from primary economic activities in the Americas since the 1970s.

Answer:

As people had already moved and settled all across America by the 1970s they were in need of more resources. So this led them to start mining and cutting down and fishing in the areas that had these resources in abundance. These areas also happened to be the areas where the natives had relocated to over 200 years ago after being forced out of their original homes the first settlers that came to America. So this again started the process of the native people relocating or being forced to adapt and live in this new world which led to more and more of the remaining cultures and indigenous languages to be forgotten or lost.
