Like let's say you are writing about the blue jay and you know that your teacher will be reading it so you put in some interesting-but true- facts. You also want to ask what the purpose is because if it is a fiction then you can make things up but if it is non-fiction then you have to make sure all of your facts are true.
It takes a lot of time. The writing process is sometimes long and tedious and that is why many view it as the hardest part of an essay.
