Hola Jordan,
I heard you were going to Mexico, so I got amazing facts to share with you before you go. Did you know Mexico had many wars including TWO revolutionary wars? They did! One was dated back to 1910 when the peasants led by Pancho Villa rose up against general Diaz and overtook their army, who gained independence and freedom. Did you also know Cinco de Mayo celebrates Mexico winning a war against France and represents Mexican heritage instead of it just being the day of the dead? x culture can really be interesting like the food, art, and language!
Mexico and the US both share a love and respect for religions, like Christianity for example and follow with baptisms, weddings, and funerals. Mexico and the US can be very vibrant, and colorful learning about Mexican history can be very interesting, and even when reading history books about the US it makes me very curious about things back then! Both the Us and Mexico love watching tv, there are many tv shows and movies produced by Americans and Mexicans!
Both the USA and Mexico have their own languages, Spanish and English! In some cases a profession in the US can sometimes be placed before family, but in Mexico family is always first even when it comes to work and professions! Mexico’s traditional food is flavorful containing spices and herbs, in the US there are no really traditional foods unless you would consider burgers to be traditional food.
P.S. I hope to hear all about your trip to Mexico!
