Which is an example of an emotionally intelligent strategy that Tumo could use to manage the new emotions and challenges he migh

t experience as he returns to school part-time? Tumo could keep his worries and feelings to himself to avoid distressing his family or burdening his friends, many of whom already have busy schedules. Tumo could recognize that his tense muscles are a sign of stress and plan to incorporate more exercise into his daily life to release tension and build resilience. Tumo recognizes he is overwhelmed with multiple deadlines, so he could work on the weekends and never go out with friends to give himself extra time to finish everything. Tumo could distract himself from his emotions by listening to music whenever he is alone to avoid thinking about his worries.

Answer:

I think it would be Tumo could recognize that his tense muscles are a sign of stress and plan to incorporate more exercise into his daily life to release tension and build resilience.

Explanation:

Keeping feelings to yourself isn't a good thing to do, because you should always talk to someone, so that eliminates the first one.

Going out with friends help you to feel like someone has your back, and the weekends are meant for relaxing, so working on the weekends and never going out with friends isn't a good option. This eliminates the third one.

Distracting yourself from your emotions isn't a good thing to do, it's better to tackle them or listen to them because they might tell you something about yourself.

If there was one that said "Tumo could just relax" I would've chose that XD, but since there isn't I think it is the first one.

Hope this helps!

Choose a character from the list and summarize their story from beginning to end. (Hermia, Helena, Lysander, Demetrius, Titania,
vovangra [49]

Answer:

A Midsummer Night´s Dream

Explanation:

This classic story revolves around the obstacles that are put between the lovers Hermia and Lysander and Helena and Demetrius. It starts when Hermia refuses to marry Demetrius, the one chosen by her father. A decisive role is played by Oberon, king of the fairies in the woods where Hermia is to meet Lysander. As Oberon was quarreling with Titania, the queen, he asks Puck, his counselor, to fetch the flower called Love in Idleness, in order to help restore the love between him and Titania.

Puck, however, has other plans and plays out his tricks by using the flower with the earthly lovers in a confusing way (Demetrius falling in love with Hermia and Helena with Lysander) during the night when Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius are sleeping in the woods.

When Oberon found out what Puck had done he punished him and corrected the mistakes, so in the end the lovers were reunited.

what is the meaning of the simile " a bright girdle" in this excerpt from "dover beach" by Matthew Arnold
Bumek [7]
I'm thinking a girdle furled is it being folded about and wraps around you and he's describing the ocean in this manner suggests something to do with the oceans wrapping around continents, ect. of the world, how we're protected in a sense. In full context of the poem though it seems the author is talking about god and faith as in "sea of faith" and how faith was once prominent surrounding all things and the bright girdle was to show how prominent it once was. good luck with english!
