Chaos and confusion are necessary parts of life. Agree or disagree?

English

Answer: Agree

Explanation: When we live our lives, I find it odd to live in complete harmony and joy, i find it impossible to live without chaos and confusion, these things make us human, and show how we can all create our own demons, and make our own mistakes. Chaos and confusion keep us humbled and hopefully make us realize we aren't alone, and that there is good, bad is the balance to good, as it dark to light. The lesson of ying and yang. To have one, the other must live. Without good, we shall only know bad, and be unable to see what bad really is, without good, we cannot compare bad to anything, the same goes for good, without bad, we would not know why good, is called good, or why it is wanted or needed.

Hope this helps ^_^

The rhetorical device which James Baldwin most clearly uses in this passage is B. Figurative language

What is Personification?

This refers to the figure of speech that gives human attributes to inanimate objects.

Hence, we can see that the rhetorical device being used by James Baldwin as he talked about the frozen blood thawing at the hearing of a particular sound is most likely personification because it gives the actions of the blood which is an inanimate object, human qualities.

The answer is B: Less than a decade ago, the HSUS...an affiliate [Human Society International].

Brackets are used to give the writers (when they need to add information) an opportunity to add an explanation, or emphasis to a word, or change a quote to fit to a sentence, but without changing the meaning of the text. In A) global work doesn't need explanation; C) decade doesn't need explanation; D) HSUS was already explained in the first sentence of the text.
