azamat

Answer:

The answer is D.

Explanation:

In my resources that I have, it says in 1918 that the Texas Woman Suffrage Association won the right to vote in primary election and women began being elected for public offices, meaning they were elected by a party leader. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, but also I had this question wrong and realized what the correct answer is. The correct answer is D.

How do you tell if a word has a positive or negative connotation?
jonny [76]

Answer:

Connotation is an idea or feeling that a word evokes. If something has a positive connotation, it will evoke warm feelings. Meanwhile, something with a negative connotation will make someone feel less than pleasant. To call someone “verbose” when you want to say they're a “great conversationalist” may not convey that.
