Western Europe countries historically adopted the Latin language. The Western Roman Empire would collapse paving the way for the Middle Ages. Christianity is also the predominant religion in Western Europe.
Eastern Europe had a Greek influence that would later be replaced by a Byzantine one. Russians would later dominate the territory. Regarding religion, the Eastern Orthodox church is dominant throughout these countries.

Muslims, Jews, and Christians can each be considered as a religion because each one is a belief and not everyone believes in one particular religion. There's many different religions in the world, personally I am a Christian and I believe there is only one religion to believe in but there are other religions out there in the world.
