Because it is a hard time in life. Bodies going through changes, and emotions at an all time high.
There is no age to it really, But when you continuously eat, the disorder happens. Age is really not confirmed,

I personally would die of starvation because I don’t think it’s okay to resort to cannibalism but its honestly what you think.
