Well Racism is the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. and Discrimination is action that denies social participation or human rights to categories of people based on prejudice. This includes treatment of an individual or group based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or social category, "in a way that is worse than the way people are usually treated". Also a Penalty is a punishment imposed for breaking a law, rule, or contract.
Hope this helps ^-^
I would say that the sentence which is an example of indirect characterization is the following one:
<span>"Tom's wife was a tall termagant, fierce of temper, loud of tongue, and strong of arm."
</span>The reason why I chose this sentence is because of the word <em>termagant, </em>meaning a violent, overbearing, turbulent, brawling, quarrelsome woman.
This excerpt comes from the story “<u><em>The Crab that Played by the Sea”</em></u> written by Rudyard Kipling. It is a fable to teach children about the origin of life.
Question: Which evidence best supports the conclusion that the narrator is telling this story with a particular child in mind?
Answer: D. “Pau Amma’s babies hate being taken out of their little Pusat Taseks and brought home in pickle-bottles. That is why they nip you with their scissors, and it serves you right!”
