Musical imagery acts as a complement for the mind to picture and understand what is being told. They help each other for the person who looks and absorbs the information.

Answer:

I think artists use musical imagery so often in their work because it allows them to create a new lively and unique piece of art. Musical imagery is a very useful tool because it gives you the ability to take inspiration from sound and put it into a physical representation of how you interpret the lyrics or rhythm of a song. Music and art are both ways to express yourself in ways no one has before. Music and art are both used to reflect emotion and even personal life experiences. They work together to fill the world with new inspiration and and self expression.

For the band, I would want flute because that's my instrument and its soo cool!
violin for orchestra because the violin is so sweet and tiny and has a wonderful sound. both instruments could play Beethoven's 9th. they are important because with their little sound they carry a lot of notes that make the music kinda flow!

What values/attitudes/skills of the Chinese,Japanese,Thailand and Indonesians do you like to acquire? Why?
stepladder [879]

Answer:

What I value about Chinese culture is the rich history that has brought them to where they are today. It is definitely an imperfect government, but the resilience of the people and the significance placed on family and respect are admirable qualities as well.

When I think about the Japanese, I think about the pursuit of excellence. Throughout history they were willing to adapt the most cutting edge technology from Western countries to gain power in East Asia.  Even today, Japanese people have some of the highest life expectancy rates and have excellent overall health outcomes.

Explanation:

These are the things that I admire about these cultures from my personal experience and from my studies of East Asian culture in college. I would encourage you to reflect on your course material if they touched on these topics, and choose the things that resonate the most with you. I apologize, I have not done much research on Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand and Indonesia.

Who was successful in changing in the french academy's rule that only four women could be admitted at a time?
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Labille- Guiard was successful in changing in the french academy's rule that only four women could be admitted at a time.

The French miniaturist and portrait painter Adélade Labille-Guiard, also known as Adélade bdes Vertus, was born in 1802. She fought to give women the same chances as men to become accomplished artists.

One of the first female members of the Royal Academy, Labille-Guiard was also the first female artist to be granted permission to open a studio for her pupils in the Louvre.

Labille-Guiard excelled at oil paintings, pastels, and miniatures. Due to the customs of the 18th century, which prohibited masters (who were primarily male) from taking on female pupils, little is known about her training.

The Académie de Saint-Luc gave Labille-Guiard a place to engage in full-time artistic endeavors.
