In whole-genome shotgun sequencing, the chromosome is cut into pieces, the pieces are sequenced, and the sequences are aligned b

Explanation:

Shotgun sequencing is a method used to determine the nucleotide sequence of entire chromosomes/genomes. This sequencing method consists of obtaining random DNA fragments which are subsequently classified by bioinformatic tools that ordering them according to overlapping sequences called contigs. In the whole-genome shotgun (WGS) technique, the entire genome of an organism is sequenced, being the critical factor the depth of sequencing, which refers to the quality of the sequencing reads (e.g., a depth of 20X indicates that the genome is sequenced 20 times by a sequencing machine). For the human genome, WGS became available after the completion of the Human Genome Project (HGP), which enabled the generation of a reference sequence for the whole human genome. The steps of the WGS technique are the following:

1. Preparation of isolated chromosomes

2. The DNA is sheared into small fragments

3. The DNA fragments of about 1 kilobase (1000 base pairs) are incorporated into plasmids which are cloned to render pure samples of each DNA fragment

4. The plasmid clones are sequenced by sequencing machines

5. Bioinformatic tools finally are used to link DNA fragments by their overlapping ends

If heated with the same amount of energy and under the same conditions will soil or water cool faster?
Butoxors [25]

⭐Hola User_______________

⭐Here is Your Answer...!!

_______________________

↪Actually welcome to the concept of the Mode of tranfer of heat in solids and fluids

↪Basically here referring to the medium of transfer of heat

↪Soil = Solid medium and water = liquid medium

↪Basically according to the theory of thermal conductance. .

↪Solids transfer heat through conduction and liquids through the convection , thus here

↪The particlas in solid are more close and have much higher force of attraction in moleclues than the liquids , thus CONDUCTION occurs faster than CONVECTION..

↪therfore the soil will cool faster than the water ...

prohojiy [21]

Answer: Option (1)

Explanation:

The extinction event played an important role in the creation of new diverse life forms on earth. After an extinction event, both globally and locally, more than 75% of animal species gets vanish and the only those highly resistant life supporting organisms survive and with due course of time, they undergoes evolution, thereby bringing changes to the existing life forms. This is how they initiates and helps in the increasing species diversity.

Thus, the correct answer is option (1).

andre [41]

Answer is the phylum is Pteridophyta. Pteridophytes are first land plants, examples ferns, Lycopodium, Selaginella. Members have liginified cells and developed conducting tissues called vascular system to conduct water and synthesized food. They reproduce through spores, seeds do not develop in pteridophytes.
