D) is loss of interest, a major depression symptom. Same with C) difficulty with concentrating. B) is very common with depression, as depression leads to eating disorders.
A) isn’t a huge thing. Sad isn’t the same as depressed. If the friend experiences B, C, and D for months after her friend moved, then she could be depressed. But so far, she’s not.
