Examples includes: Natural forest, wild life, water, soil, air mineral resources. Since they are useful to the environment, these natural resources needs to be conserved to ensure their availability. These resources can be grouped into two:

--> Renewable resources: These are the natural resources that can replenish themselves. Example includes water, forest soil.

--> Non - renewable resources: these are natural resources that cannot be produced by any process. Example includes fossil fuels and minerals.

MINING is a process by which these fossil fuel and minerals can be obtained or extracted from the land. More efficient and improved methods should be used in mining as a way to conserve these non renewable resources.
