Answer:

phenotypic changes to the organism

Explanation:

Mutations are permanent changes and may be due to an error during DNA duplication or environmental factors such as radioactivity, UV rays, certain chemicals, among others. Mutation is a rare event that can be either neutral, harmful or beneficial to a living being, however all have changes in the body. Mutations are classified as gene and chromosomal.

Unlike gene mutations, in chromosomal mutations, changes occur in whole parts of chromosomes, modifying the gene sequence of a chromosome, called structural changes or even the number of chromosomes, which are numerical changes. These mutations may influence phenotypic changes in the body and the emergence of some abnormalities, such as Klinefelter syndrome and Patau syndrome.

Describe the ADP molecule and its function within a cell.
Viktor [21]
Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) is formed by the removal of one phosphate from an ATP molecule by enzymes called ATPases.
Adenosine diphosphate (ADP) is an organic molecule involved in the central part of the metabolism of the cell that generates energy.
The interconversion of ATP and ADP takes place in various aspects of cellular metabolism.
Another process in which ATP and ADP act together to supply energy is in the fast twitch of muscle cells.
In mammals, ADP is involved in blood platelet activation, and is stored within platelets.
A derivative of ADP is adenosine diphosphate ribose, in which the sugar ribose is linked to the final phosphate of ADP by an ester linkage.
