genocide could be done in multiple ways, being a person in power, like hitler. or you could do it under the terms of a religion(usually under the influence of an occult). It really only started being recognized after hitler though

The Nile is a specific river than is in the fertile crescent, in fact, many in 3000BCE Ancient Egypt would study when it would flood because the floods created more fertile soil. These rivers provided for 100's maybe 1000's a day and kept agriculture boomin'.
