Karolina [17]

Answer: Option C

Explanation:

These cells are soft because of its function. Gaseous exchange takes place by the help of these cells. Spongy mesophyll cells are covered by thin layer of water and are loosely packed.

This is because, during the day time when the plant is performing photosynthesis these cells allows the carbon dioxide into the mesophyll cells and the oxygen out of the plant body.

What does hibernation mean??
belka [17]
Hibernation is when animals that do not survive in the winter go to sleep for the whole season. Before those animals go to sleep, they store a whole bunch of food and water and they live their lives in their dreams. Bears are one animal that hibernate and they store berries. In google definition, "(of an animal or plant) spend the winter in a dormant state".

I hope this helped and I hope you understand.
