Construct plants for generating super-greenhouse gases made of complex combinations of carbon, chlorine and flourine. To successfully make Mars Earth-like, we would need to raise temperatures, have water stably remain in liquid form and thicken the atmosphere. ... The only greenhouse gas on the Red Planet that's abundant enough to provide significant warming is carbon dioxide (CO2), they noted. Man cannot alter the environment in Mars to make it more suitable for human habitation. It is virtually and logistically impossible to do so for various reasons. For this to work, you need massive changes in the environment which is not possible with what we have today. Transforming Mars into a life-friendly world doesn't have to be a herculean planet-wide effort. Humanity could make patches of the Red Planet habitable relatively cheaply and efficiently by placing thin layers of silica aerogel on or above the Martian surface, a new study suggests. Proponents of terraforming Mars propose releasing gases from a variety of sources on the Red Planet to thicken the atmosphere and increase the temperature to the point where liquid water is stable on the surface. These gases are called “greenhouse gases” for their ability to trap heat and warm the climate. Scientists have considered placing Mylar disks, with a diameter of 155 miles and a weight of 200,000 tons, to reflect sunlight onto Mars and heat the surface. The idea is that over many years, the rise in temperature would release greenhouse gasses.
Answer:
Intimacy is a term that, despite its widespread use, remains relatively ambiguous” (Hirschberger, Florian, & Mikulincer, 2003, p. 676). This sentence underlines the difficulty to define and to measure family intimacy. Indeed, measuring family intimacy involves taking into account both several dimensions of the construct and different levels of analysis. In the literature, several definitions of intimacy have been provided (Erikson, 1963; Reis & Shaver, 1988). Often intimacy is defined using terms as cohesion, closeness, support, trust, self-disclosure, responsiveness, presence, interdependence, and positivity (Foley & Duck, 2006). Beside the subdimensions of the construct, intimacy could be also conceptualized referring to individual, interactional, relational, or family level. Regarding the individual level, it is conceptualized as personal willingness to be in a supportive and affective relationship

Letter to the editor: Use of Internet and mobile phones, an obsession among students
March 25, 2017
The latest research indicates that the use of Internet and mobile phones has become an obsession with students and may be considered as one of the biggest non-drug addictions of the century.
The excessive use of Internet and handheld gadgets is not only eroding students’ capacity as ‘independent learners’ but also damaging their basic spelling and grammar skills. It also leads to health concerns. The increased use of Internet and mobiles has the capacity to damage value system and may lead to ‘disconnected classrooms’ and ultimately may result in a disconnected society.
The benefits of Internet can only be made visible if its use remains in balance.
